“How's she goin', bys!”
With that cheery greeting, General John Cabot Trail launches into one of his
outrageous rants about his observations about life and times in Maritime
Canada and beyond.
General John Cabot Trail has been entertaining audiences for some 25 years – on radio, on
television and on stages all across Canada.
He has performed with CBC's “Royal Canadian Air Farce” (radio and tv), has
been featured on CBC Radio's “Madly Off In All Directions”, appeared at the
Halifax Comedy Festival, and has graced the stages of just about every
convention center, banquet hall and tavern table top in the Maritimes.
General John Cabot Trail has even done a stint overseas, entertaining Canada's troops in the Persian
Gulf during 1990's “Operation Friction.”
The General's show is fast-paced, topical, off-beat, current, slightly
naughty (but never lewd) with just a hint of Maritime attitude to give it
that special Down East flavor. “Pass the lobsters.” “Pour me another beer.”
General John Cabot Trail of the Cape Breton Liberation Army is the comic
creation of writer-comedian Dave Harley who can customize material specific
to your convention or event. That's right, he'll write jokes about your
company President, but he never makes fun of the company accountant until
the cheque has been cashed. Hey, it's called show business.
It's a non-stop laugh fest when the General takes the microphone. All he
needs is a willing audience, a stage and a cold beer.
Get General John Cabot Trail to bring the gift of laughter to your next
convention or special event. He'll even make you an honorary member of the
CBLA.
