Magic has always been a life-long obsession for Jean Boucher. At the very young age of six, Jean knew that his fascination with magic would alter the course of his life.

Jean Boucher was raised in Montreal, Quebec and graduated from the Université du Québec à Montréal with a bachelor's degree in physical education. After the realization that Jean's patience with young sports enthusiasts was wearing thin, he knew that he wanted to literally make them disappear, literally. So, Jean returned to his first obsession - magic !

Jean is a three time champion of the Magic Montréal Close-up Magic Competition - the biggest magic competition in Canada. Jean's imaginative with enabled him to create many original magical effects that have set him apart from other magicians, and has led him to capture the admiration of his peers.

Jean has two types of performances - a stage show and a close-up show. The stage performance is a very dynamic forty-five minute show of eye-popping magic combined with side splitting humor and audience participation that always leaves the audience asking for more. Jean is considered to be one of the most humorous magicians in North America. It is this combination of comedy and humorous wit that has made Jean one of the most requested artists on television. In Quebec alone, Jean has appeared in over 50 different television programs!

After ten years of professional performances for television, conventions and private functions, Jean's versatility with his performances coupled with his ability to perform in both English and French, have established him as one of the most sought after entertainers in Quebec.
