Alicia Sales hails from the forested lands
of central Ontario, in a small town called Haliburton. Alicia is a dynamic
singer with a whirlwind stage presence and buoyant personality. Nothing ever
gets in the way of this feisty chick. She will go into any performance full
force, flailing herself recklessly around the stage, knocking over anything that
comes in her way. It is not unusual for both Libby and Jill to take cover behind
drum cases and speakers when Alicia kicks it into high gear. She has been
singing since before she could officially speak, and possesses an awesome
ability to hit notes inaudible to the human ear.
Representin' stage-right, from the urban 'hood association of banjo players is
Jill Wade. Jill was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario but still
somehow seems to have developed a sensitivity and appreciation for country and
bluegrass music. As well as banjo and vocal harmonies that add to the smokin'
vocal blend in this band, Jill also plays guitar and mandolin in the show.
The youngest in a family of five talented musicians, fiddle player Libby
McGrath hails from Cambridge,
Ontario. Her boisterous stage presence and solid fiddle playing keep band
members and audiences alike on their toes. Moreover, she sings a mean harmony
which adds to the powerful vocals of this band.
