Vic Lippucci is a professional stand-up comic and MC. Nicknamed by his colleagues as “Pooch”, his stage persona is a mix of written material combined with his background in improv, which guarantees no 2 shows are alike. His performances make use of the whole stage and have been described as high energy, expressive and very entertaining.

When Vic Lippucci turned 17 he was asked to perform at his high schools talent show. Vic performed in front of over 600 crazy, rowdy high school students. That night Vic got bit by the comedy bug and has never looked back since.

In November 1997, just over a year into the Vancouver comedy club scene, Vic won the title: Vancouver’s Funniest New Comedian.

In April of 2001 Vic won another competition, The Just for Laughs Homegrown Comic Competition. And has received rave reviews from critics. Numerous television credits have since been added to his resume as a result of his performance at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival, including a live taping of a Gala performance for two national television networks; the CBC and the Comedy Network.

In 2002, Vic pursued his lifelong dream by packing his bags and making his move to The Big Apple. He now splits his time between Vancouver, Montreal and New York City. In this time Vic has carved his unique style of comedy at some of New York’s most popular comedy clubs including Caroline’s, The Comedy Cellar and Stand-Up New York. He was also the house MC for the Trenton Titans Hockey Club in Trenton New Jersey. A farm team for the New York Islanders and the Philadelphia Flyers. Being an MC for 7500 rowdy amateur hockey fans is nothing unusual for “Pooch”. More recently, Vic has competed in the 25th annual Seattle International Comedy Competition where he placed in the top 5 finalists from over 450 fellow competitors. Vic has also recently recorded and released his debut CD entitled VicLippucci “Pucci Style” and has recently completed filming “Edison” starring opposite Morgan Freeman, Justin Timberlake and Kevin Spacey.
